How to use the SENVÈ Neck & Facial Massager

The SENVÈ Neck & Facial Massager is simple on purpose: one button, three modes, a curved head that follows the neck. Here is the routine we recommend, start to finish.

Before you start

  • Charge it first. Use the included USB cable. The device is cordless while in use.
  • Clean, dry skin. Cleanse as usual and pat dry. You don't need a gel or a special serum; the device works directly on skin.
  • Keep it dry. It's rated IPX0. Never use it in the shower or bath, and keep it away from running water.

The three modes

Press the power button to turn the device on, then press again to cycle through the modes:

  1. Clean: preps the skin at the start of the session.
  2. EMS: a gentle toning mode. You should feel a light tingling where the metal head meets skin; if it feels too strong, move the head steadily rather than holding it in one spot.
  3. Warm: adds soothing heat to finish.

How to hold it

Hold the oval body low, fingers wrapped round the back and thumb along the side, with your hand coming up from below. Angle the body away from your chest, roughly 45 degrees, so the curved metal head sits flat against the skin with its two wings wrapping across the neck. If it's held straight up and down, only the edge touches; tilt until the whole head makes contact.

The strokes

  1. Neck. Start low, near the collarbone, and glide slowly upward toward the jaw. Repeat across the front and both sides of the neck.
  2. Jawline. From the chin, glide along the jawline toward the ear. Repeat on the other side.
  3. Finish. Switch to Warm and repeat the same upward strokes, slower.

Always stroke upward and outward. Keep the head moving rather than pressing hard, and skip the throat directly over the windpipe.

How often

A few minutes per session, a few times a week, is the rhythm this routine is built around. Follow the session lengths in the printed manual that comes in the box, and see how your skin responds before adding more.

Afterwards

  • Apply your usual serum and moisturizer. Morning: add SPF.
  • Wipe the treatment head with a dry or barely damp cloth. Store it dry.

When not to use it

Don't use it over broken or irritated skin. If you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device, or have a medical condition affecting the neck, check with your doctor before using any EMS device.
